Herbal Essences were so pleased with our work on their Chamomile variant, they immediately wanted us to produce new assets for their Argan Oil product series. They wanted us to build on the new brand look and feel we’d established with our previous work. Again, something that would feel more part of the contemporary fragrance world, only this time they wanted it to be set in Morocco, the home of Argan oil.

We wrote the script and then created storyboards using Ai to create not just the story but a Moroccan world. In fact, the boards themselves were highlighted in a conference for Publicis as the chosen standard of storyboards for all agencies going forward.

Once again, we needed to tell the dual story of emotional benefit of summer time joy alongside the variant hair benefit, this time of Argan Oil replenished hair.

Shot in Morocco, in an authentic ‘riad’ by Ivo Weijgaard, with Claire Harrison shooting stills since this time the client wanted to add In-store and E-commerce assets to the deliverables.

Myself and my creative partner were responsible for everything from the selection of the talent to overseeing the shoot to all the post work, including the track re-composition, VO record, SFX, grading and VFX as well as some of the stills retouching.
