The Boots SOLTAN Summer 2022 campaign tackled a universal parenting challenge: applying sun cream to young children. The idea brought creativity and warmth to a functional problem, celebrating British summertime while making sun protection engaging and memorable.
Key highlights: Delivered an integrated in-store, print, and social toolkit
Launched Boots’ first-ever localised airport activations in Manchester, Stansted, and Aberdeen, expanding presence in key travel hubs
Collaborated with TikTok creator and TV presenter Nigel Clarke on a bespoke music video
The resulting “Suncream Dance” was designed to educate parents and children aged 4–12 through play and repetition: 17M+ video views 30M impressions. Strong uplift in awareness and positive brand engagement. The campaign successfully reframed sun protection as fun, approachable, and family-friendly.
